After being made redundant from a major employer, my husband and I made a decision to buy our forever home in Lichfield. We have always loved Lichfield for its beauty and the array of shops and restaurants. It has also very good rail and bus links to Birmingham and Burton.
Looking for a part time job, I applied to Lichfield District Council and was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the process. I felt “at home” from day one. The team here are very supportive and friendly and through the Covid pandemic, they have gone the extra mile to keep employees and residents safe and looked after. They have a flexible working ethic which helps to drive a great work/life balance and a great team spirit.
